Parents are key to their child's success!
Parents get involved by contributing to their child's education in a number of ways: attending Head-of School meetings, contributing to tuition, participating in Meal Team, and much, much more.
Small Expected Family Contributions
It is the mission of The Neighborhood Academy to provide a college-preparatory high school experience at an affordable price. Most families pay a tuition contribution of $50 per month, and all students receive a scholarship to cover the remainder of their tuition. Additional fees include a mandatory, one-time fee of $60 for students choosing to be assigned a Google Chromebook, and a yearly activity fee of $115.
Families are assigned to Meal Teams that cook dinner for students and staff five times per year. Members of a meal team can expect to spend $50-60 dollars per member per meal ($300 annually)
Guardians are expected to pick up their child's report card at the end of every quarter and meet with their advisor to discuss progress, difficulties, and areas to improve upon.
