Students who live two miles or more away from the school and who are residents of the City are eligible for a Connect Card. They are distributed to students the first week of school and reloaded every month by Port Authority's Business Web Portal. If the card is lost or stolen, the student must report it to the School Office at The Neighborhood Academy. Replacement cost is $5.00 and takes up to two weeks to be replaced by Port Authority.

Penn Hills School District
The PA Auditor General’s Office has stated that “school districts must have a transportation request for all students not attending school at one of the home district’s buildings.” To simplify this process, Krise Transportation, Inc., the transportation contractor for the Penn Hills School District (PHSD), has forwarded the Request for Transportation Under Act 372 form to us. The link for this form may be found below. TRANSPORATION WILL NOT BE PROVIDED UNTIL THIS FORM IS COMPLETED AND RETURNED TO PHSD TRANSPORTATION OFFICE.
Please note that: This form must be renewed every school year.
Wilkinsburg will supply a Port Authority Connect Card if you provide proof of residency to the district.
Woodland Hills Transportation Form
To ensure compliance with State regulations governed by Act 372 of the PA School Code the Woodland Hills School District requests the parent/guardian for each student desiring daily transportation or periodic transportation to submit a request for service annually. This procedure is in addition to the student’s school sending enrollment notification forms and rosters verifying enrollment. Please complete this transportation form for each student for the 2023-2024 school year. Allow 5 business days for requests to be processed. If your child does not ride for a week or more the stop could be eliminated, and a new form would need to be submitted.
