Tuition Contributions
Though all students at The Neighborhood Academy receive a scholarship, we ask that families make a small tuition contribution on a monthly basis. The contribution is on a sliding scale, starting at $50/month for any family with a taxable income under $25,000, with $10 increases for every $1,000 of income above $25,000 (for example, a family with a taxable income of $30,000 would be asked to pay $100/month). Some families may also offset tuition contributions by carpooling with other families.
Activity Fee
There is a yearly activity fee of $115 per student, which covers all after-school activities (including arts and athletics).
Chromebook Fee
Students who receive a Google Chromebook are asked to pay a one-time fee of $60 to insure it against damage.
Small Expected Family Contributions
It is the mission of The Neighborhood Academy to provide a college-preparatory high school experience at an affordable price. Most families pay a tuition contribution of $50 per month, and all students receive a scholarship to cover the remainder of their tuition. Additional fees include a mandatory, one-time fee of $60 for students choosing to be assigned a Google Chromebook, and a yearly activity fee of $115.
Grade Pick-Up
Guardians are expected to pick up their child's report card at the end of every quarter and meet with their advisor to discuss progress, difficulties, and areas to improve upon.
